On Monday, September 27, Louisiana Tech hosted Dr. Lisa Morici from Tulane University School of Medicine as the first speaker in this year's New Frontiers in Biomedical Research seminar series. Dr. Morici met with administrators, students, and faculty before talking about the history and future of vaccines, including her own work on developing novel and powerful vaccines for disease. Dr. Morici is a partner, mother, educator, mentor, and great example of what it means to be a Woman in STEM! Click here to learn more about Dr. Morici.

Thank you all for all the support ! Arianna and Jiilian Hello!
Jillian and I are just so excited for the start of this club on our campus and look forward to the upcoming year! We have created this group, alongside Dr. Newman, to help connect STEM women on campus, empower them within their fields, and to encourage their growth as they pursue their careers. In other words, women supporting women. We are so excited for the good things to come and can't wait to share everything with you all. If you would like to connect with us or are someone who may be interested in speaking with our members, please contact us via Instagram direct messages. We look forward to hearing from you! Connect. Empower. Grow. Co-Founder Arianna Miskowski |
